 This
is one of our better nights out under the stars, 25 km outside Munich.
This is because we ran out of time and light to find a suitable campsite.
 After
a 15 minute wait, the barge is 20 metres higher and on its way upstream
to Basel in Germany, having started out from Rotterdam.
 The
Rhine river border crossing from France into Germany. This lock lifts
a barge from one level to the next, as shown in the above photo.
